Vasil Pujovski returned with two bronze medals in the category of players aged under 13 from the international tournament Victor Junior Olve International 2008, which took place 22-24 March in Antwerpen, Belgium.

In an unbelievebly tought competition featuring over 350 competitiors in 5 categories (160 players in U13 category) our most perspective young player managed to get to two semifinals in mens singles and mixed doubles.

On the road to the bronze medal in mens singles, Pujovski won twice against players from England, and also against players from Wales, Luxemburg, Holland and twice against players from the host country Belgium. Here are Pujovski's results in mens singles:

In the period from 20-23 March 2008, in Timisoara, Romania, four macedonian international players will take part at this year's edition of the BanuInvest Badminton International 2008.

Martin Stojanovski, Bojan Kostadinov, Amel Amed and Filip Mihajlovski will compete in two categories: mens singles and mens doubles.

This year, at BanuInvest Badminton International 2008, international players from 37 countries will compete in 5 categories, from which, given the number of entries, in 3 categories qualification matches will be played (MS, WS, WD).

Besides the players, at this EBU ranked tournament, two macedonian international referees will also take part as umpires - Marjan Stojanovski and Nikola Neloski.

After the completetion of the Cup of Macedonia in badminton 2007, in Vinica, tributes were paid off to the most deserving members of the Badminton Federation of Macedonia.

Namely, an accolade was given to Bojan Kostadinov by BFM for his particular contribution in the development of badminton in the R. of Macedonia for his technical work in the organisation and the realization of tournaments in organisation by BFM, and also for his contribution in the maintenance of the web-site of BFM.

A similar accolade was given to our most perspective young player Vasil Pujovski for his international achievements, namely an accolade for best international result in the history of macedonian badminton.

We remind you that recently Vasil Pujovski became twofold champion at the international junior tournament Adria Youth International 2007 (mens singles and mixed doubles) and won several other medals from Balkan Championships.

Tributes were also paid off to the B.C. "Vincini" for the successful organisation of the Cup, and also to the owner of "Mak Progres" for his support in the development of badminton in Macedonia.
